There seems to be a general lack of knowledge about such things. As a Dreamer with work authorization, you can do this with a work permit, also known as an EAD:

• Get a social security number
• Get a driver’s license or state ID
• Fill out an I-9 to Work legally

You cannot travel outside the country with a work permit. You may be able to obtain an I-131 but it is a terrible idea to travel outside because many of you will trigger the unlawful presence bar.
